The Valley Rambler Pages

Welcome to the website of a Former Coach Operator and self-confessed old vehicle enthusiast...

(and a link to our boat and canal web pages)

Even though we've closed our operations, we're keeping the web site open as a showcase for some of the things we did and as a collection of photographs.  Every page in the web has more or less the same layout. The boxes on the top left-hand corner of each page are links that will help you navigate around the site. If you enjoyed trips on our coaches, you might be interested to know that the former owners of the company are involved with the City of Portsmouth Preserved Transport Depot (Kevin is Chair  and trip organiser of the "Friends" and Ann is Membership Secretary) - you can find out about this organisation here and about the trips that are operated here

HIRING A VINTAGE COACH?

We can't help you now, but if you click here, you'll be taken to our weddings page where I have listed some other operators local to the area who will be delighted to assist you.

WHERE ARE THEY NOW?

More details on the pages for each individual vehicle

The ex-Red & White Bristol MW has now gone home to South Wales.

The Bedford OB found a new home in New Zealand with Gordon Taylor. Gordon faced no end of problems with the New Zealand authorities (ah - so it's not just VOSA then...) and so JAB 867 is now back in England

The Bedford SB is now with Lianne Coaches in Windsor, who previously operated a fleet of similar vehicles.  It has been repainted into their former colours and has had further restoration work completed (all the little jobs that I never quite got around to doing).

To help reduce the amount of junk email received, I've removed all the email links from the site, but you can still email me if you send your mail to kj.warrington at btinternet.com. You'll need to replace "at" with the symbol and remove all the spaces of course.  The valley-rambler email addresses are still valid, but no longer checked.
